I think the backsplash made a huge difference in the transformation of my kitchen. I was really disappointed by the selections of adhesive tiles at Home Depot and Lowe’s when I was doing this part of my kitchen. I think by now most home improvement stores may have caught on to the demand but who knows. The selection I found at Home Depot was plain and boring!

To own our first home in a neighborhood I had only fantasized living in was truly a dream come true. You see, I grew up in a two bedroom apartment and shared a bedroom with my sister. To now own a house felt like I had won the lottery so needless to say, I cried tears of joy at the settlement table the day we closed on the house. I felt very grateful.
